well said. i agree with all 4 statements just listed above for the purpose of...simplicity haha
Now that you guys have had some time to marinate on these issues. i will start making some polls that we can vote on them individually.
We should also start getting the information of the interested new members gathered so that they are ready to go by March 1st. hopfully we can get all this shit organized by the time we start our next challenge.
btw. j and g. pay your fucking ante. im about to DQ both yo asses!

Well what a couple of simpletons you two numb nuts are. And it appears the funds must be flowing rampantly at Dipshit Castle on France Ave. Getting these 2 to pay on time each month is gonna require a big, fat sweaty Italian guy who enjoys knocking out kneecaps and breaking fingers. Good luck Klein. Btw I'm down with all 4 points man cans made in his post.

Klein, you just throw up the poll and I'll vote on it. As far as your payment goes, paypal has indicated that I will be getting my funds tomorrow. So, expect to see my money very soon. As far as Garrett goes... well I think we all know that he hasn't done a damn thing yet.

I'm also on board of the 4 points based on simplicity. Parlays will just give Sohn a false sense of security and we know he's never going to win one of these challenges so we shouldn't get his hopes up.
I don't care if we go the full month of march, cause in the small windows of sobriety in Vegas i'll experience in the mornings while I make my picks in the sportsbook I can easily choose to make a pick on my phone and post it to the board. This also goes for starting new threads in case Klein doesn't have his computer / a phone that has board access.
I'll talk to the 2-3 guys that me and B know here at school to see if they're gonna join or not by March 1st.

I also agree with Mr. Simplicity. I don't care if we break march down into 2 sections or have it a whole month as long as the vegas days are excluded. I will be piss drunk all day and losing money at whatever table I stumble to.

Since we all either just got our tax returns or have them on the way (save for the unfortunate ones who owed the gov't more money, life's tough J) along with the fact that we are all gambling degenerates, I was thinking we should all throw down an extra $10 or $20 bucks on top of the March payment and do an NCAA pool, winner take all. We could add other people that didn't want to do this but I'm sure would wanna do an NCAA pool like Flem, Tony, and I'm sure you guys know some other people that would be interested. We could maybe do 2nd gets their money back if we get a big enough pool going. Klein, or really anyone, could just set up one of those private bracket challenges on ESPN or CBS and the computer would keep track of the standings. Of course, we'll have to find someway for Sohn to actually pay for this first month before we would do this since he is the only deadbeat who has yet to pay. How it takes him this long to set up a PayPal account and electronically transfer a mere $10 to Klein is beyond special. He had almost a full month and he spends multiple hours online at work, not to mention plenty of time dicking off at his apartment I'm sure. It must be hard to balance actual productivity with looking at ESPN, sportsbook, facebook stalking, g chatting, and I can only hope there's some time spent looking at jerk off material to fill in some more time to help explain why he has yet to do this simple task. In fact, J why don't you just go to the zoo, jack one of the chimps and have it set up the account in dipshit's name and then return it. He's taking lazy to a new level as he's gonna fuck up the payouts for this month already. So Klein I guess you're gonna have to decide whether or not you're gonna short the winner $10 or just owe 2nd place. Just reply yay or nay so we can see who's in our out. And cheers to Jay making this interesting the last couple days so J will have to come outta hibernation to defend his lead.

Im all for doing a bracket challenge. as for sohn, i dont even know what to say about him. you pretty much it all the sweet spots in the lovely post you just made. however, i would like to add that there should be some sort of punishment for his laziness. maybe make him nare his chest, dress up as a wookie in vegas, or something along those lines. anyways, sohn fucking get your payment in so the money doesnt get fucked up after the first month.

Sohn is a lazy hairy animal. There is a better chance of me stealing his checkbook and setting up his account than there is of him actually doing it himself. So I may just do that. Plus, he gets into the running, smells blood and then stops betting? There is a reason he finishes dead last ass last in fantasy year in, year out. B, I like your idea about march madness and am in obviously. Although, we have to make sure that money is in by the first game of the tourney otherwise the winner is most likely going to get screwed.

I'm also in for the March Madness idea. Looks like we have 1-2 prospects for joining for the next month, I'll find out for sure by tomorrow so they can be sure to have accounts set up and start betting.
If one of them manages to pay Klein before Sohn does for this past month my primary objective in vegas will be getting him piss drunk and then pointing the fattest and most unattractive girl in the club in his direction, and then filming it for everyone's delight.

Suggestion: Why dont we expand the -165 favorite ML to the same as the underdog ML, usually -900 is the max. If there can be big point swings toward the green, then there should be the same swings toward the red. Example, if a guy wanted to bet Me (-900) vs Klein(+750) on a 1 on 1 game and happen to lose (which I obviously wouldnt), that guy deserves to lose 9 units and I definitely cant wait to see it actually happen.

I actually support this idea, but I think the cap should be around -500 or so. I'd be down to poll the group on this change.
On another note, glad we all started off the month in fine form. At least we're not in Vegas yet.

I disagree with this idea. Reason being; I initially started this with incorporating a limit at -165 because i didnt want people to just pick chalks that are at like -400. it doesnt take any talent to see the lakers playing the twolves and picking whos gonna win that game. as for the upper limit, ive been thinking about that since we talked about it in the other thread. i agree that being able to find a line at like +400 and exploiting it takes skill. For example, the KSU game against texas a couple nights ago. i know a couple people that wanted that +400 line because they honestly believed KSU was going to win which they did. I jsut dont want everyone to get into the habit of picking chalks and making this less interesting. the way we have it seems very good to me so far and i dont see any reason to change it just yet.
